Bloody Honey moves in to Studio Möllan in central Malmö, and with such a fancy office it is time for a new fancy client: WG Film has asked Bloody Honey to provide all graphics for documentary Big Boys Goes Bananas!*, the sequel of mega-sucess Bananas!*.

Augusti 2011
With Antiques Road Tip in full swing and more incoming work from our friends LA Media business is blooming... It is time to expand business further - with a brand new Sweden Office in Malmö.

May 2011
May has been a very busy month! STVing like crazy but still managing to slip in a couple of wee jobs; an animated logo for Edinburgh feature film Electric Man, and illustrative stings for an Edinburgh International Conferance Centre DVD to demonstrate their Green Planet Project. Check them out below! I am also proud to announce that I have been commisioned to make the graphics for season 3 and 4 of STV/BBC collaboration Antiques Road Trip.

LaPuma is back! The single Hotter is to be realeased on May 7th by Playground Music Sweden and produced by none other than Thomas Rusiak. Bloody Honey has as always been involved, this thime with the single sleeve design. Download the single for free here!

March 2011
With the return of my old favourites STV it definately won't be a boring month. Especially not since it also will hold a trip to New York...

February 2011
Heehaw asked me if I would be willing to help out with a pitch illustration/animation for a housing association which I am very happy to say we won. Therefor most of February was spent animating stickmen in various normal housing situations - roof falling in, building takes fire etc. I am very happy about how well it all turned out, espessially as it is my first shot on character animation, and I hope to put a link up to the finished project soon.
As well as working for Heehaw I also put a lot of work in for PMI Sweden Chapter, for whom I this time have made a couple of new folders, logo for the event Passion for Projects, a 24 page brouchure, roll-ups, powerpoints, word templates, flags, bags and various other bits and bobs.

December 2010
Back to Heehaw again, but this time to fill in in the print and web departement. Clients I worked with there includes Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh Conferance Bureau, Inveraray Castle and University of Edinburgh.

November 2010
Freelanced for a few weeks at Teviot Creative, an extrodinarily good agency here in Edinburgh. They got me in to create a few line-drawing animations for 5 star hotel giant Missoni.

September 2010
Designed and snapped photos for three brouchures for The Bike Station in Edinburgh as well as some work for returning customers STV and New Found Sound. Also made logos deliciuos Thai food restaurant Love You Long Thai and it's neighbouring hotel Richmond House.

July/August 2010
Apart from another week at Heehaw the summer mostly floated by in STV's newsroom... Until holiday time started! Bloody took off to Oaxaca, Mexico, for some fairly well deserved surfing and beering!

June 2010
June was mostly spent at Production/Design Company Heehaw where I amongst other things made motion graphics for the Glendronach Distillery and a video to showcase ecological entrepreneurs Ecometrica's new online product "Our Impacts". (Cant see the videos? Click here to view Glendronnach and here for Ecometrica)

The sun is shining on Bloody Honey. Not only in Madrid and Knockengorragh where I went on behalf of Music News Scotland, but also through a lot of new fun projects and clients. Graphics and visual effetcs for full lengh Edinburgh comedy "A Spanking In Paradise" has been completed and the film has been choosen as a feature film by Edinburgh International Film Festival and will premiere on the 24th of June. Other completed graphics include posters for the Go North festival and a 3D taster for The Skinny. New T-shirts are on the way too...

April 2010
Apart from being back at STV, Bloody finished off graphics for a BBC documentary about the wee island of Sula Sgeir and is starting to become a wizzard in Cinema 4D.

March 2010
March has proved to be a quite different month for Bloody Honey, while there hasn't been that much work coming from my regular customer BBC, bussiness has bloomed from other directions. Not only has there been comebacks from New Found Sound, The Skinny, Red Dog Music and PMI, Bloody has also found a new client in Intrepid Cinema, a very exciting Edinburgh based production company. Here are a few tasters:

January 2010

New year, new possibilities. Still mainly sitting in the BBC office in Glasgow's Pacific Quay. Bloody Honey friend and copywriter Brian has set up this blog about his favourite movies of the past decade, well recommended and entertaining reading: http://doingthesplits.blogspot.com

December 2009
Turned down a tempting offer from BBC to go full time for 6 months in order to continue running Bloody Honey. Will still keep working for the beebs but on freelance basis. Hopefully work will keep coming in...
